Our next door neighbor’s kids like climbing trees and jumping from planter boxes in our yard with regularity. I worry about potential injuries and have asked their parents to keep them off our property. It’s not working. What now?

The parents may not have been taking you seriously when you asked them to keep their children off your property. Although you don't necessarily want friction with your neighbors, you certainly want to avoid any injuries. The best thing to do would be to put your request in writing to your neighbors and keep a copy for yourself. Technically, the children are trespassing on your property, and that does violate the law.  You can gently let the parents know this in your letter. You might mention the potential for injuries and how you would not like to see their children get hurt. I wouldn't threaten legal action just yet. See if the letter takes care of the problem. If not, another more strongly worded letter threatening legal action, perhaps even from an attorney, should fix it.
